Salawudeen Ayomide, 22, a Point of Sale (POS) operator, was sentenced to three months in prison on Tuesday by an Ota Magistrates’ Court in Ogun for stealing N120,000 from her company.
Following her admission of guilt, the police charged Ayomide, whose address was not given, with theft.

Mrs. A. O. Adeyemi allowed the convict the option of paying N3,000 in lieu of paying N120,000 to the complainant, Nosiru Jayeola, in her decision.
Previously, Insp. E.O. Adaraloye, the prosecutor, informed the court that the crime was committed on February 8 at around 8 a.m. in the Ogba Ayo, Ijoko area of Ota.
According to Adaraloye, the offense was against Section 390(9) of the Criminal Code, Vol. 1, Laws of Ogun, 2006.
