By Gboyega Lasisi, age 50, has been charged in front of Oyo State Family Court 2, which is located in Iyaganku, Ibadan, the state’s capital.
For allegedly knowing about his daughter, who is seven years old, Lasisi was charged.
The state police command filed a defilement complaint against Lasisi. Inspector Folake Ewe, the prosecutor’s attorney, informed the court during the defendant’s arraignment that on March 22, the defendant had improper sex with his daughter, who is seven years old. According to the police prosecutor, the crime was perpetrated in Ilora’s Aro neighborhood, which is part of the state’s Afijio Local Government. She claims that the offense violates Section 34 of the 2006 Oyo State Child Rights Law.
