Brig.-Gen. Bashir Adewinmbi, Osun State Amotekun Commander, claims that at around 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, corps members saw the wife leaving the Kelebe forest area and running toward the Iragbiji-Osogbo Road.

The woman was escorted to the Amotekun Command, according to Adewinmbi, where she identified herself as Margret Jonah, the woman who was abducted on Saturday along with her husband.

According to him, the woman claimed that they were from Iragbiji and were on their way back from Osogbo, where they had gone for a church service before coming across the kidnappers’ ambush.
