The Federal Executive Council meeting for this week is being presided over by President Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retired) at the Council Chamber of the State House in Abuja.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Secretary to the Government of the Federation Boss Mustapha, National Security Adviser Maj-Gen. Babagana Monguno (retired), and the Chief of Staff to the President Professor Ibrahim Gambari are present at the meeting, which started at 10:01 am after Buhari arrived.
The in-person meeting is attended by all ministers and their state counterparts.
The conference on Wednesday will comprise memos from significant ministries in charge of tasks that must be finished by May 29 with nine weeks left under the regime.
The development of the Presidential Transition Committee, led by the SGF, Boss Mustapha, may also be a topic of debate.
