The footballer is being investigated for allegedly raping a 24-year-old woman.
In any case, the reported event is not the reason Hiba Abouk would have opted to split from the Moroccan player, at least initially. The footballer was seen at The Best Awards with a casual demeanor and without his wife or brother, which drew the attention of the media.

Fanny Colin, the Moroccan player’s lawyer, has refuted the claimed victim’s story. “The claims are unfounded, and the footballer is calm and ready to face court,” the lawyer said.
His current team, Paris Saint-Germain, has officially shown its support for the player, as reported by the French daily Le Parisien: “The club supports the player, who has firmly denied the accusations, and relies in justice.”
