According to a Liverpool legend, Nigerian legend Austin Jay-Jay Okocha is more skilled than Lionel Messi of Argentina and Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo.
Okocha, who has already left the game of football, is compared by John Barnes to the late Ronaldinho of Brazil and Barcelona.
“About Jay-Jay, he used to be in Paris [PSG] when he was young and nobody really knew about him. Then, in the latter stages of his career, he came to this country [England]. It could not have gone any better if he had arrived as a 19, 20, or 21-year-old, Barnes told SuperSport of Okocha.
“When you talk about two of the naturally gifted most skilled players, the most skilled player in the world, there are two, Ronaldinho and Jay-Jay Okocha. Okocha is naturally the most skilled player because the things he does on the football field are things you do in the playground, what you do in training you aren’t supposed to do in matches.

In terms of sheer skill, he excels beyond [Lionel] Messi, [Cristiano] Ronaldo, and everyone else.
