By IGP grants Promotion to Inspectors who are due for Promotion.
The Departmental Selection Board (DSB) has been established by the Police to screen and choose deserving Inspectorate cadre personnel for referral to the Police Service Commission for promotion to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police II (ASP II).
The IGP Usman Alkali Baba instructed the Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of the Department of Finance and Administration to work with the Force Secretary to set up a Departmental Selection Board (DSB) for the screening and selection of deserving members of the Inspectorate cadre, according to a statement released on Thursday by the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi.
