A former senator from Borno North and current National Deputy Chairman (North) of the All Progressives Congress, Mr. Abubakar Kyari, was named by Tinubu as the Coordinator and Director of Finance and Budget of the Committee in a letter to Mr. Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

Stella Okotete, the Executive Director for Business Development at the Nigeria Export-Import (NEXIM) Bank, will be in charge of the week-long event’s secretariat, planning, and monitoring, and Mr. Makinde Araoye, a former APC candidate for governor of Ekiti State, will be in charge of the venue, parades, and swearing-in ceremonies.
The Director of Media and Publicity for the APC Presidential Campaign will be Mr. Bayo Onanuga, while the Cross Rivers State Commissioner for Health and current National Women’s Leader of the APC, Dr. Betta Edu will coordinate the medical team for the inauguration committee.

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, has appointed a 13-person Presidential Inauguration Committee, made up of prominent Nigerians, to organize a weeklong ceremony ushering in both himself and his vice president-elect, Senator Kashim Shettima.
Col. Abdulazeez Yar’Adua, the younger brother of the late Nigerian President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, will oversee security for the inauguration together with Mrs. Zainab Buba Marwa, who will organize the pre-inauguration dinner and gala night for the committee.
Other members of the committee include Bishop Adegbite (Church Service), Donald Wokoma (Protocol and Invitation), Hajiya Hadiza Mohammed Kabir (Transportation and Logistics), Abuh Andrew Abuh (Accommodation), Dr. Danladi Bako (Inaugural Lecture), Samira Saddik (Children’s Day), Abuh Andrew Abuh (Accommodation), and Imam Faud (Jumat Service).
Recall that Boss Mustapha had originally received the names of Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State and former Lagos State Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Wale Edun, to be included as the President-elect Tinubu’s representatives in the Transition Committee.
On May 29, 2023, Tinubu is anticipated to be sworn in as president.
