Victor Osimhen last night broke several records after he netted his 100th career goal against Sassuolo as Napoli consolidated their leadership of Serie A with a 2-0 win.
The Nigerian international scored his side’s second goal of the game in 33 minutes.
Osimhen has now scored 18 goals and recorded three assists in 19 league appearances for Luciano Spalletti’s side this season.
The stunning strike was also the forward’s 100th career goal becoming one of the five fastest players to achieve the feat.
Scoring in just his 197th game, Osimhen has racked up 100 career goals faster than Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and in incredible style too, striking the ball past the keeper from an impossible angle next to the byline.
Osimhen now has 18 league goals, and he has become the first Napoli player to score in seven straight games since 1995.
