Senator-elect for Plateau North and member of the Barikin-Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency, Simon Mwadkwon, has urged Christians in Plateau and Nigeria to imitate the attitude of steadfastness, love, and sacrifice as the world observes Easter.
Mwadkwon congratulated Christians in his Federal Constituency, Plateau North, Plateau State, Nigeria, and all across the world on the celebration of the Easter season in a press release signed by his director of media and public affairs, Friday Bako.

The lawmaker emphasized the importance of the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ for the salvation of humanity during this time period for Christianity.
He urged Christians to use the time for sober introspection and to live godly lives in conformity with biblical beliefs.
“Because Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary for mankind’s salvation, it is crucial that we show God our love by living in complete submission to Him and carrying out His will at all times.
As Christians, he declared, “This time is crucial to our existence, and we must return the sincere love God showed us by sending Jesus Christ to the cross so that we can be rescued.”

He repeatedly emphasized the necessity for Believers to put God first and give their all to serving Him.
He urged Christians to remain upbeat and to pray for the nation’s unity, peace, and growth rather than to give up.
