Olukayode Salako, a former leader of the Labour Party (LP) in Lagos State, has revealed why he believes Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour lost the governorship race. In contrast to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who received 762,134 votes, LP candidate Rhodes-Vivour received 312,329 votes. The defeat of Rhodes-Vivour came two weeks after Peter Obi won Lagos in the presidential election.
