Two individuals were taken into custody by Adamawa state police for posing as agents of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Balkari Village, Hong local government area.

According to a statement made by the police command’s spokesperson, SP Suleiman Nguroje, the suspects, Abdulrazaq Bindow, 29, and Ismaila Alim, 27, both from Maiha, are accused of arming themselves with firearms in the early hours of March 2 and invading the village while wearing NDLEA jackets to make the villagers think they were members of the law enforcement agency. They then allegedly captured and handcuffed Amos Daniel.
